Enjoy a Four (4) Course Bourbon Dinner paired with some of the finest flavorful bourbons in the South.

Where: King's Steakhouse

Time:  7:00 pm to 8:45 pm

What's on the Menu:

1st Course:  Bourbon infused Pork Belly served with a Pomegranate Bourbon Glaze. (With Old Dominick High Rye Bourbon)

2nd Course: Bourbon Poached Lobster Tail served with Polenta Cake topped with Bourbon Brown Butter Sauce. (Rich Grain Bourbon Whiskey)

3rd Course: Bourbon Marinated Heart of Ribeye served with Sweet potato Gratin and Cold Smoked Bourbon Gouda Cheese. (Knob Creek Single Barrel)

4th Course: Fresh Grilled Peaches topped with Homemade Vanilla Bean Ice Cream & Smoked Bourbon Butter Scotch Sauce. (With Pennington's Rye Whiskey)

 

After Dinner Bourbon Jam:  Concert with Grammy Nominated Bluesman, R. L. Boyce & Lightnin' Malcolm

This concert features North Mississippi Hill Country Bluesmen who have been recognized for their hard work and dedication to their craft of music performance.

Come out and enjoy a day dedicated to all things Bourbon. There will be lots of food and entertainment centered around this Great American Spirit.

11:00 am -11:45 am – Keynote Address:  Alex Castle, Head Distiller - Old Dominick Distillery

 

BOURBONTALK SESSIONS

12:00 pm -1:15 pm - Bourbon:  How it is made.  A Crash Course in the Past and present Manufacturing Methods of America’s Favorite Spirit - featuring David Rich, owner of Rich Grain Distillery .

1:30 pm – 2:30 pm – Bourbon Cocktail Creations - Mixologists, Nick Spiller & Jeff Callaway.

2:45pm-4:15 pm - Explore the Bourbon Flavor Map with Award-winning writer and Bourbon expert, Susan Reigler.

4:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Bourbon Bootleg & Blues featuring Greg Johnson, Director of the Blues Archives at the University of Mississippi.

 

THE "GRAND TASTING" EVENT

6:30 pm - 10:30 pm  - GRAND TASTING: VIP may enter one (1) hour early from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. General Admission may enter starting at 7:30 pm.

Sample Bourbon, Rye & Tennessee Whiskeys from Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama & Mississippi. You will also have the opportunity to meet a few Head Distillers, sample a small bites of delicious food prepared by local restaurants and chefs from the surrounding area; enjoy live music from the Randy Ferguson Band; and get to test your skills with Indoor Laser Skeet Shooting. The Inaugural Oxford Bourbon Festival promises to be lots of fun!
